What you should know.
Does MediaLatch remove watermarks from videos?
No. The tool only shows a watermark-free version when an official or licensed provider supplies one. Embedded watermarks are not altered.
Which YouTube links are supported?
The tool accepts videos, Shorts, and completed live videos. Playlists, active livestreams, private content, and login-protected content are not supported.
Which Facebook links are supported?
The tool accepts public videos, reels, and fb.watch links. Private, friends-only, and login-protected posts are not supported.
How is download history stored?
Only necessary metadata is associated with an anonymous client ID in your browser session. Videos and images are not stored in PostgreSQL.
Can I download every image in a slideshow?
Yes. When the provider returns multiple images, the system streams a ZIP without permanently storing it on the server.
How is audio extracted?
The server streams the video through FFmpeg, outputs a 192 kbps MP3, and sends it directly to your browser without retaining the result.
